What is Microsoft Advertising? How do I create an account on the platform?

Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) is an online advertising platform owned by Microsoft and a major competitor to Google Ads. The platform provides the ability to create and display ads on various Microsoft platforms, such as Bing, MSN, Outlook.com and the Microsoft Advertising network.

With Microsoft Advertising, we can create search ads, display ads, video ads and shopping ads. MS Ads offers a range of tools and analytics to help you track the performance of your ads and optimize your campaigns for better results.

Creating an account

We can create an account on the Microsoft Advertising platform in two ways: 

• using the Sembot tool,

• by going to https://ads.microsoft.com

Creating an account throught Sembot

To create a Microsoft Advertising (Bing) account, go to the Connections tab > Microsoft Advertising > Create a new account and fill out the form. Once completed, you will receive an email from Microsoft telling you to create an account and from us with a message regarding the next steps.

Creating an account on the Microsoft Advertising website

To create an account with Microsoft Advertising, follow a few steps:

1. Go to the Microsoft Advertising website (https://ads.microsoft.com/).

2. If you already have a Microsoft account, you can log in using your account -> just click on the "Sign in" button in the upper right corner. Otherwise, click the "Create an account" button (Sign up now).

3. You will be redirected to the login window -> click "create one".

4. Fill out the registration form, entering your personal and company information.

After registering and logging in, you will be able to start creating your first advertising campaigns.

Payment setup

It is important that before you start advertising your products or services through Microsoft Advertising, you need to complete your account with the appropriate financial information and choose a payment method for your ads. To do this, log in to your Microsoft Advertising account, then in the panel, click on the "Tools" tab. -> "Billing and Payments".

In the "Payment methods" section, add your preferred method of payment.
